16. Can you explain the difference between GRAPHIX images and normal images?
Firstly - NORMAL IMAGES
A normal image is simply a photograph that you have taken on your camera/phone/iPod etc, or it may be a every-day photo or image that we include in our selection.
These images are sometimes reduced in size and resolution (quality) in order for them to be downloaded onto your website. They are basically un-edited, no border, no enhancements made - just AS IS.
GRAPHIX IMAGES
These are images/ photos/ logos etc.... that are mixed with text, plain or gradient (fade) colours - or a combination of various elements. These must be created first on photo software such as 'Photoshop' or 'Paint Shop Pro'
GRAPHIX images are a series of different layers - working on one layer at a time. (See Headers & Borders page for a demo on 'Yorkshire Fleet Services' Header)

BEHIND THE SCENES WITH PHOTOSHOP
Click on PHOTOSHOP below if you would like to go behind the scenes, and see how a GRAPHIX image is produced on PS. Producing these quality images take quite a long time, and often the results pay off in the production of a good quality website.
