During the first steps of your website construction, we will invite you to choose a layout design from the list of templates available. This process is covered just after choosing your website address.
You can easily change it to another template, if possible before we start designing and editing.
If you would like to change the layout design template after work has started, if this affects the overall positioning and alignment of text & images, these will need to be realigned - however we regret that this extra service would not be included in the original quote.
Please note that depending on the change of template design, certain header and sub header features may not be available.
QUICK EXPLANATION WHY
When a template is selected, we are governed by the overall default size of the page layout, headers and the margins within it. Some templates have larger margins than others, some have margins on both sides, and other have margins only on one side. This will be demonstrated to you. If we start to edit your website on a template with large margins at both sides (in other words a smaller text/image area), then switch it to a different template with either no margins or a margin on one side (and a different size to the original), then all the wording will appear in a different position. This is similar to switching a large worded document from A4 size to A6 size. Any changing of templates at this later stage may also lose you certain header and inner border features, of which the templates are not interchangeable in their design and format.
Therefore different templates will vary in this, and thus the text alignment may dramatically change from template to template.
We therefore kindly ask you to choose your template carefully before work commences.
